Check Firearm Restrictions

Before contacting AAE, make sure your firearm is potentially eligible. Some firearms cannot be imported through this process.

  • Chinese-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Russian-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Belt-fed firearms are not eligible.
  • Open-bolt firearms are not eligible.
  • NFA items are not eligible.
AR or AK variants are not eligible unless previously imported into Canada by IRUNGUNS. If you are unsure, verify eligibility before contacting AAE.

Review Fees & Timeline

These are the main fee categories customers should understand before starting.

  • $200 CAD import fee per serial number
  • $50 CAD transportation fee per firearm
  • $25 USD engraving/importer marking fee, if required
  • $1 USD ATF permit line item fee per item
  • CBP Merchandise Processing Fee, approximately 0.3464%
  • 15% reciprocal tariff/duty on non-USA firearms
  • 15% AAE consignment fee
ATF approval is commonly estimated at approximately 60–90 days after IRUNGUNS receives the firearm. Timelines, tariffs, exchange rates, and fees may change.

Featuring Frictionless Release technology, this drop-in AR trigger has a short, two-stage action, designed to feel like a 1911 trigger, that provides a true zero-creep break, extremely short overtravel, a sub 0.015” tactical reset and offers outstanding reliability, even in the harshest environments. Utilizing CLKR technology, the pull weight is quickly and confidently adjusted in 2oz increments from a set screw with the trigger installed. Due to there being truly zero creep, most shooters report the pull weights feeling 0.5lbs lighter than a friction based trigger of the same measured pull weight. Changing the pull weight does not affect hammer force so you get dependable primer strikes at every weight. Frictionless Release technology, along with hardened 440C stainless steel internal components ensure corrosion-resistance and an extended service life.
