Check Firearm Restrictions

Before contacting AAE, make sure your firearm is potentially eligible. Some firearms cannot be imported through this process.

  • Chinese-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Russian-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Belt-fed firearms are not eligible.
  • Open-bolt firearms are not eligible.
  • NFA items are not eligible.
AR or AK variants are not eligible unless previously imported into Canada by IRUNGUNS. If you are unsure, verify eligibility before contacting AAE.

Review Fees & Timeline

These are the main fee categories customers should understand before starting.

  • $200 CAD import fee per serial number
  • $50 CAD transportation fee per firearm
  • $25 USD engraving/importer marking fee, if required
  • $1 USD ATF permit line item fee per item
  • CBP Merchandise Processing Fee, approximately 0.3464%
  • 15% reciprocal tariff/duty on non-USA firearms
  • 15% AAE consignment fee
ATF approval is commonly estimated at approximately 60–90 days after IRUNGUNS receives the firearm. Timelines, tariffs, exchange rates, and fees may change.

The Bulldog Cases Standard Digital Pistol Vault measures in at 12 inches x 8 inches x 7 inches and features a 12 digit key pad. With 12 digits more than 1000 combinations can be created and this creates more secure combination options. A secure hidden key override is provided as well. The vault is constructed of heavy-duty steel and features a durable powder coated black matte finish. The vault also has pre-drilled mounting holes and a soft bottom to protect the firearm. When closed the vault is locked by two 3/4 inch steel locking bolts. This vault comes with mounting hardware and a low voltage LED light Tamper Alarm for extra security.
