Check Firearm Restrictions

Before contacting AAE, make sure your firearm is potentially eligible. Some firearms cannot be imported through this process.

  • Chinese-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Russian-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Belt-fed firearms are not eligible.
  • Open-bolt firearms are not eligible.
  • NFA items are not eligible.
AR or AK variants are not eligible unless previously imported into Canada by IRUNGUNS. If you are unsure, verify eligibility before contacting AAE.

Review Fees & Timeline

These are the main fee categories customers should understand before starting.

  • $200 CAD import fee per serial number
  • $50 CAD transportation fee per firearm
  • $25 USD engraving/importer marking fee, if required
  • $1 USD ATF permit line item fee per item
  • CBP Merchandise Processing Fee, approximately 0.3464%
  • 15% reciprocal tariff/duty on non-USA firearms
  • 15% AAE consignment fee
ATF approval is commonly estimated at approximately 60–90 days after IRUNGUNS receives the firearm. Timelines, tariffs, exchange rates, and fees may change.

Description

8 Gram CO2 cartridges are only compatible with the Byrna HD and Byrna SD. Not compatible with the Byrna SDXL or HDXL or launchers with Byrna boost installed. Byrna’s box of ten 8g CO2 cartridges are custom fit for the Byrna SD and HD Launchers. Now including 1 CO2 cartridge with oil for simple maintenance every 10 CO2 cartridges used. Each cartridge will be good for 15-20 rounds, 4 mags in a 5 round magazine, at full speed. Punctured cartridges within the Byrna HD will leak over time. It is recommended to swap out punctured CO2 cartridges and leave an un-punctured cartridge inside the Byrna HD to avoid any compressed air loss. The Byrna HD will puncture and fire the first round at the same time.
