Before contacting AAE, make sure your firearm is potentially eligible. Some firearms cannot be imported through this process.

Chinese-made firearms are not eligible.
Russian-made firearms are not eligible.
Belt-fed firearms are not eligible.
Open-bolt firearms are not eligible.
NFA items are not eligible.

AR or AK variants are not eligible unless previously imported into Canada by IRUNGUNS. If you are unsure, verify eligibility before contacting AAE.

$200 CAD import fee per serial number
$50 CAD transportation fee per firearm
$25 USD engraving/importer marking fee, if required
$1 USD ATF permit line item fee per item
CBP Merchandise Processing Fee, approximately 0.3464%
15% reciprocal tariff/duty on non-USA firearms
15% AAE consignment fee

ATF approval is commonly estimated at approximately 60–90 days after IRUNGUNS receives the firearm. Timelines, tariffs, exchange rates, and fees may change.
