Check Firearm Restrictions

Before contacting AAE, make sure your firearm is potentially eligible. Some firearms cannot be imported through this process.

  • Chinese-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Russian-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Belt-fed firearms are not eligible.
  • Open-bolt firearms are not eligible.
  • NFA items are not eligible.
AR or AK variants are not eligible unless previously imported into Canada by IRUNGUNS. If you are unsure, verify eligibility before contacting AAE.

Review Fees & Timeline

These are the main fee categories customers should understand before starting.

  • $200 CAD import fee per serial number
  • $50 CAD transportation fee per firearm
  • $25 USD engraving/importer marking fee, if required
  • $1 USD ATF permit line item fee per item
  • CBP Merchandise Processing Fee, approximately 0.3464%
  • 15% reciprocal tariff/duty on non-USA firearms
  • 15% AAE consignment fee
ATF approval is commonly estimated at approximately 60–90 days after IRUNGUNS receives the firearm. Timelines, tariffs, exchange rates, and fees may change.

Description

The Razor Muff has two Hi-Gain Omnidirectional microphones that enhance sound detection. They are low noise and frequency tuned for natural sound clarity and the recessed volume control knobs allow the user to tune the muff to the frequency position that best matches the user’s hearing. The independent volume control permits the hunter the ability to dial each side of the muff to a comfortable sound level for each ear. A sound activated compression circuit has a reaction time of 0.02 seconds, and through the use of sound dampening composite material, the Razor Muffs feature a noise reduction rating of 22+dB. The Razor Muff has a folding compact design, ultra low profile ear cups, and incorporates a comfortable headband with a metal frame for increased durability. The sound dampening composite housing aids in the protection against harsh noises that can damage hearing. Operates on two included AAA batteries.
