Check Firearm Restrictions

Before contacting AAE, make sure your firearm is potentially eligible. Some firearms cannot be imported through this process.

  • Chinese-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Russian-made firearms are not eligible.
  • Belt-fed firearms are not eligible.
  • Open-bolt firearms are not eligible.
  • NFA items are not eligible.
AR or AK variants are not eligible unless previously imported into Canada by IRUNGUNS. If you are unsure, verify eligibility before contacting AAE.

Review Fees & Timeline

These are the main fee categories customers should understand before starting.

  • $200 CAD import fee per serial number
  • $50 CAD transportation fee per firearm
  • $25 USD engraving/importer marking fee, if required
  • $1 USD ATF permit line item fee per item
  • CBP Merchandise Processing Fee, approximately 0.3464%
  • 15% reciprocal tariff/duty on non-USA firearms
  • 15% AAE consignment fee
ATF approval is commonly estimated at approximately 60–90 days after IRUNGUNS receives the firearm. Timelines, tariffs, exchange rates, and fees may change.

The Winchester SX4 Hybrid Hunter’s comfortable ergonomics, sleek profile, and rugged reliability are available to you at a price you can afford. Precision manufactured and engineered for endurance the Super X4 Hybrid Hunter will continue to excel shot after shot, round after round. Featuring a TruGlo fiber optic front sight, and Active Valve gas system, the SX4 provides exceptional accuracy. The Active Valve gas operating system automatically adjusts to allow the exact gas pressure necessary to fire a wide range of loads, giving you a greater versatility in the field. Improvements over the SX3 include an oversized bolt handle, bolt release, and trigger guard for easier access and operation with gloved hands in cold weather. The Inflex Technology recoil pad has been widened and thickened to further minimize felt recoil, making the SX4 even more comfortable to shoot all day long. A most noticeable change from the SX3 is the reduced weight and ideal placement of the balance point with a narrower pistol grip and length of pull spacers.
